Your Zilla. Your next thing.

Make a shirt. Start a comic. Give your channel a suspiciously well-dressed mascot. Finished characters from the public builder are free for personal and commercial projects.

Scale Mode Tools LLC (we, us or our) grants you a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to copy, share, display, sell, edit and adapt the finished character images you create and export through the public Zilla builder. Use them in merchandise, publications, videos, games, advertising or digital items. No credit, royalties or revenue limit required. Collaborators, printers, publishers and customers may use those images for these purposes under the same limits.

Permission lasts for the copyright term, subject to statutory rights and compliance with this license. Closing the site or updating the terms does not withdraw permission for earlier compliant exports. A material breach may end permission for the affected use.

Edit your finished character however you like. The original layers and asset library remain ours: do not extract them as standalone traits, redistribute or sell them, or use them to supply another generator, trait library or asset pack. Temporary browser copies needed to use our builder are permitted.

We retain rights in our original artwork and branding; you retain rights in your original additions. Looks are nonexclusive, so someone else may make the same combination. The license does not grant our name or logo or permission to imply our endorsement. We license only rights we hold; third-party rights and your independent rights under law or other applicable licenses remain unchanged.

A few house rules.

The public site and builder are free. Use them lawfully, respect the artwork license and do not disrupt the service or bypass access controls. If you are under the age of legal majority, use the site with a parent or guardian’s agreement.

The site and artwork are provided as is and as available, without warranties to the extent permitted by law. Keep copies of images you want to save. Where law permits, our liability for this free site is limited to US$100 and excludes indirect losses. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise, South Carolina law governs, and disputes belong in Oconee County state courts or a federal court with jurisdiction serving that county. Updated terms apply prospectively and do not replace earlier artwork permissions.

Your visit, explained.

The public builder works in your browser. There is no registration, contact form, commenting or uploading, and no need to enter your name or email to make or download a Zilla. The artwork site is for a general audience and is not aimed at children.

Your browser stores preferences and cached artwork information; you can clear them in browser settings. Shared look links contain artwork choices that anyone with the link can read.

AWS hosts the site. Loading pages sends request details such as your IP address, requested URL and browser headers to the hosting infrastructure. Displaying public identities can also request published names and avatars from data services, which receive the lookup and normal request details. These lookups can happen while browsing without signing in. If you email us, we receive your address and message to reply.
